Conquest Case Study: Tyron Brandt
Can we pop his red crate cherry?
Eager to improve my average from the last case studies, I reached out to the community to see who else had never before earned their red crate. Enter: Brandt. Tyron Brandt. International man of mystery. I’m assuming “man.” I only know this person from their DM which said “TEACH ME” in meme form. What can I say? I’m a sucker for the classics.

This should be easy for the young Agent Brandt. LV? Check. JKL? Check. JML? Check! Wat? Low gear but still… CHECK! This can and should happen.
First thing’s first: Can they utilize any of the cheese teams I suggest? Short answer: Yes!
JKL is here. That means DCS cheese is good to go! No Malak, but Old Ben and GK both are R5, which is fine.
JML is here, too. So we can Fois Gras that conquest goose until it bursts. Literally. Fois Gras is nasty.
Now let’s build some teams to use for the Global feats.
LS UFUs. I think we’ll be fine here. R7 Cere / R5 CLS / R7 JTR / R5 Cal / G12 ATF.
Bad Batch. So we bought the LSB. Thanks for keeping the lights on for us freeloaders. But there’s something missing here… zetas! I actually have no idea which abilities have zetas, nor do I know which zetas are needed, but if this team doesn’t work at full R5, the answer is zetas. Also mods. Echo needs to be 300 speed. Tech needs to be at least 250. Hit those benchmarks and this team sings. If your team feels soft, use the sector 1 bonus node vs. bad batch to farm your 20 wins. 4 per day, as I’m sure you know since you read all of my guides, right? RIGHT?
Crit Damage Down. No Badstila. No paz. BUT there is a very beefy R9 POW. Who doesn’t have an omicron. There are two other ways to do this: Dash Rendar (AoE) or B2 (basic, only if hitting someone who already has target lock). Dash is the way to go here, I think.
Stagger. Another tricky one given this roster. POW could do it with the omicron, but if you don’t want to invest that, Stark is your best option (and he’s low gear, so not ideal). Probably running him in a DCS cheese team is your best bet. May also get a few staggers along the way with JKCK or someone.
300 DoTs. We have Lord Vader. We’ll be fine. Virtually any LV team will do. This is effectively free with your roster.
Sector 1 feats.
20 Spectre wins. Skip this. I’m skipping it, and I have GLAT. It’s just a bad feat.
50 clone kills. I suggest farming the global 20 bad batch wins on the bonus node, and you will get 100 clone kills in the process. So this is free.
50 Eva Up. BB wins will also get us Eva up. So this is also free!
60 Secret Intel. BB8 is G12, which is fine for this. Just toss it in with any other team, really. I find JML is a good option.
Midboss: Win with 5s surviving
This will be cake. GAS / 501st or just pure 501st feat. Yours are very well geared.
Midboss: Win with only dark side characters
This is a perfect time to use a 300 dots team. LV / Vader / Whoever.
Endboss: Win with Baby Cal surviving
Use that LS UFU team or JW cheese with Cal and Hunter (M)
Endboss: Win with Hunter (M) surviving
Swapping Omega out of your normal BB team and swapping any of the new BB members in is no big deal. Should be fine. If not, use the JW cheese team.
Sector 2.
10 wins with 3 DS Clones on your team: LV / KRU / 3 ds clones (not scorch; he’ll taunt and die). Find a team without AoE and farm the shit out of them.
Win 20 times with 3 stars:
This is free.
Gain Health Steal Up 60 Times:
DCS cheese with EP later, or try to use EP / Vader / Thrawn / Moff G / RG as you go.
Gain Stealth 60 Times:
Darth Maul / EP / Vader / Sith Trooper / Dooku should get these if you’re going against a weaker enemy like the BHers. CLS team with R2 instead of 3PAC is also solid for a few stealths.
Midboss: All Clones
Try your BB. If they don’t work, your 501st + CRex should be fine.
Midboss: All Empire
LV / DV / etc. You got this one. Might even work with your 3 DS clones, depending on data discs.
Endboss: Get a kill with a Spectre Attacker (Huyang, Padiwren, or ATF)
ATF is your best choice here. Use that UFU team and make sure ATF gets a finishing blow.
Endboss: Get a kill with DRey
Easy for you. Do NOT use SLKR (he’s a kill-hog). Hux lead / DRey / KRU / FOO / FOSTFP is my recommendation.
Sector 3.
15 wins with vader surviving. You’re going to have to do this one. That means farming 4 combats a day here for 4 days (okay, only 3 combats one day, you pedants), just like how we’re farming BB1 kills in sector 1.
14 wins with no attackers. Here are some teams to consider:
Padme / MQG / Plo / GMY / GKShaak / Fives / 501st Echo / Rex / CRex
Jabba / Krr / Bossk / Cad / GammoMT / Daka / Merrin / Asajj / Zombie
MM / Baze / CRex / Biggs / SRP
Dash / Vandor / L3 / IG-11 / Kuill (your Vandor and L3 aren’t the best, but I think G12 is good enough, depending on discs)
O(F) / Hunter(M) / Wrecker / Echo / Tech - Might be okay if your og BB can carry the newbies.

That Padme team should earn a bunch of these between Plo and GMY spreading the buff. You can always swap in old ben if you need more.
Gain Target Practice 400 Times
We can try O(F) / Hunter(M) / Wrecker / Echo / Tech and double up with “no attackers.” Or swap Hunter(M) with og Hunter (but you gotta keep O(F) as lead). You’ll probably want some more gear on O(F) for this (but I do not believe zetas are needed).
Miniboss: O(F) survives
If that weird BB team works, it works! Otherwise this looks like a prime candidate for JW cheese to carry.
Miniboss: Get a kill with Appo
I didn’t really have trouble with this while doing a JW cheese carry for OF along with appo, but your mileage may vary. I’m going to plan on skipping this feat if we can, and if we really need the 3 banners, we can circle back around and try for a cheesier cheese.
Boss: Win with Enoch on the team
Shouldn’t be an issue since your Enoch is a baller.
Boss: No Supports
LV / Vader / 3 other non-support empire units. Should be fine.
Sector 4.
15 wins with Batcher surviving
Skip. If it turns out we must do this, you’ll have to carry with JW Cheese.
Try to apply Tenacity Down 50 Times
CRex does this on AoE. Chewie does it on basic and assists a ton on a CLS team. So use these guys.
Try to apply 10 Deathmark
Gungans! Jar Jar will apply this to himself, which counts. Fight a team with lots of daze or stun effects to get this done easily.
Gain 50 bonus turns
Gungans again! They’re bugged somehow and you should get this done in a single combat.
Midboss: LV and DV Survive
Ezpz
Midboss: Huyang Survives
JW Cheese. I suggest bringing Huyang up to g8 and tossing health mods on him so he has higher survival.
Endboss: Get a kill with Jocasta
Impossible.
Endboss: Win with a full squad of Bad Batch
Doubles with the global, so that’s nice. Hopefully not too hard for your guys.
Sector 5.
14 wins with a full squad of Empire
LV / Piett / 3 DS Tanks
Apply Marked 25 Times
LV’s tanks will gain marked when they lose taunt. Piett can mark LV. So that’s easy. You can also bring JKR with any Fois Gras cheese team and use his mark ability. And we can come back later and DCS cheese piett’s mark if needs be.
Apply Order 66 10 times.
DCS cheese with CX-2 gets this done in a single combat vs. the endboss. You will have to zeta CX-2.Apply Evasion Down 60 times
Old Ben Basic with Fois Gras cheese. Also 3PAC on a CLS team.
Midboss: Win with GLAT
Impossible
Midboss: no tanks
More choices than I can count here.
Endboss: Get a kill with Baylan
Impossible
Endboss: Win with Crosshair (S) surviving
JW Cheese.
Suggested Homework (in order of priority):
Gear CAT you maniac! You have her unlocked but she’s still level 1, gear 1??? This is one of the best single units in the entire game and she works on loads of teams. Specific to this conquest: UFUs. She should be relic 7 as soon as possible. Consider her on par with GAS for overall unit power.
Maul and Ben Solo need gear, too! Conquest characters are STRONG (except for Trench and BSoJ) and should be very high priority. Remember Ben still works with JTR (or scav) lead. Maul is awesome on your budding LV squad, and he’s a fine leader in his own right. Don’t ignore these studs.
Your Bad Batch team needs better mods. Get echo up to 300 speed and tech to 250.
Captain Rex is exceptionally useful in all aspects of the game and is worth taking to R7 (the level needed for GLLO unlock anyway). His omicron is not needed, and I feel it does not make him appreciatively stronger outside of 3v3 GAC.
Other notes:
13 burritos are physically impossible for you to get.
I also suggest skipping wins wtih Batcher (10 burritos) and wins with spectre (5) and kills with spectre attacker (3) which brings us to a total of… 31 burritos to skip!
VERDICT: You can and should get red crate!
You suggested Darth Maul lead for stealth here (and elsewhere) but this guy doesn’t have the zeta from what I can tell on gg. Definitely a worthwhile zeta for here and galactic challenge though. Else the R2 team or separatists with Dooku.
